We recently received a Scribble and Write from LeapFrog.
Bethany loves LeapFrog toys, she finds them fun and always challenging. One thing that's always great with the LeapFrog toys is that they are always clear on instructions.
The Scribble and Write is certainly no exception when it comes to the instructional learning, "Draw a line, swipe the slider to erase".
There are two difficulty modes on the scribble and write 1. Scribble 2. Write for accuracy, this makes it great for children of all ages, Bethany is currently using the easier level as she is only 3 years old, but as she progresses I am sure she will be using the more difficult level!
The concept of the scribble and write is very simple, you select a Number or Letter to draw, follow the direction of the flashing lights with the pen until you have successfully drawn the number/letter (you can draw upper case and lower case letters). It gives your child instant feedback and detects accuracy to teach correct stroke order and proper letter shapes.
The screen is magnetic so there's no mess which is great.
Bethany is really enjoying playing with the scribble and write and is learning without even knowing which is such a good thing. She takes it in the car as its small enough to carry about, and keeps her occupied for hours.
There are four main learning features of the scribble and write, Pencil control, Alphabet, Phonics skills and Early writing skills.
The scribble and write is aimed at children ages three plus. RRP: £19.97.
