Rainbow Creations Arts & Crafts

We were recently sent a selection of Arts & Crafts from Rainbow Creations.

We received a Glue Stick, Halloween biscuit cutters, small packets of stars and swirly sequins, 10mm googly eyes (self adhesive), and some tissue paper mosaic pieces.

We are always doing crafty things in our house or baking, so this was a great opportunity for us to make something new.

Bethany decided she wanted to make some Halloween decorations ready for Halloween coming up shortly.

We used the cookie cutters to draw around to make the great Halloween shapes.

We made a Pumpkin, Bat and Scary Cat!

Next we stuck the tissue paper mosaic pieces onto the shapes (overlapping slightly so when we cut them out they were fully covered).

Then I drew around the shapes again over the top of the mosaic tissue paper so I knew where to cut.

Once the Halloween shapes were cut out Bethany stuck the googly eyes onto them and we drew some faces.

Then we used the a hole punch to make a hole to thread some string through the decorations ready to hang up for Halloween.

We will also be using the Halloween cookie cutters to make fantastic scary Halloween biscuits nearer to the time (we will share our Halloween baking with you in October).

The cookie cutters could also be used for cutting out shapes when your little one plays with playdoh or for painting. We love the cookie cutters as they have so many uses!

Bethany also made a Birthday card recently for Nanny.

I used the glue stick to make the words "Nanny" on the card and Bethany poured some glitter onto the glue to make them sparkly.

Then Bethany decorated the card with the swirly sequins.

Rainbow Creations supply a wide range of arts and crafts aimed for children aged 3 years onwards.

We had so much fun deciding when we were going to make, no child thinks the same so they can use their imagination to create whatever they like, just like Bethany did.
