We Went to Visit Santa!

Normally we see Santa a little earlier in December but unfortunately this year we have been a little busy!

On Saturday we set off to Visit Santa at a local grotto at The House of Marbles, we went last year and we were really impressed, so decided to go back again this year.

We arrived at The House of Marbles just before 10am as we know it gets busy so we wanted to try and avoid a queue!

It looked very festive, with a giant Reindeer outside!

We went inside to purchase our ticket and there were already 22 other tickets in front of us!

Once we had paid we received a little envelope of goodies which included - A Badge, A voucher for a free children's drink in a cool beaker in the café, an activity sheet with crayon and a discount voucher to use in the café or shop.

Because we had a little while to wait we decided to start off by filling out the activity sheet, we had to go around the house of marbles finding Santa's lost marbles on the wall and drawing them onto the activity sheet, once this was complete Bethany got a little prize.

We also had a look around the shop and glass works while we were waiting.

I found these fantastic Glass Robins made at the house of marbles.

We had a look around the shop and found a singing & Dancing Christmas Tree, Bethany was a little unsure of him and wouldn't go too close!

Soon enough it was Bethany's turn to go into the grotto, she was super excited!

It was completely different this year, everything was White.

There was a lovely little walk through area before we got to Santa, and Bethany also got to throw Snowballs at the Snowman too!

Went we went into see Santa and Bethany got a little shy! She did eventually talk to Santa but was scared to go too close to him!

Bethany didn't want to sit very still so I had to take a picture as quick as I could hence the blurriness, Sorry!!

Beth did tell Santa what she would like for Christmas and she got a present to take with her as we left.

We came out into the kids play area where Beth had some fun playing before we headed into the café.

We decided to have some breakfast in the café, it was incredibly yummy. All the ingredients is sourced from local farms.

Bethany opened her present at the table, she had received a lovely stencil set from Santa.

We had such a fab time visiting Santa at the house of marbles and will definitely be going back again next year.

Bethany is looking forward to visiting Santa again on Christmas Eve at another local Grotto, this Grotto is Disney Frozen themed, Beth is very excited.
